BATON ROUGE, La. – The ULM track and field team began its season by earning 27 Top-10 finishes at the LSU Purple Tiger, which took place Friday, Jan. 10 in Baton Rouge. Three Warhawk competitors—Grant Girtman, Jakob Fudge and Jasmine Scott-Kilgo—were responsible for multiple Top-10 performances at the event.
Girtman earned a third-place finish in the men's pole vault, clearing 4.70 meters, after being edged out by Riccardo Klotz (Southeastern Louisiana) and Cameron Reed (LSU), who tied for first with a mark of 5.15 meters.
Girtman capped off the men's 60-meter dash by closing fourth with a time of 6.
