LAFAYETTE, La. – The ULM Warhawks fell to No.21 ULL on Saturday (May 5) in the Warhawks final Sun Belt series of the season. ULM dropped game two of the three-game series in a 3-5 decision, before a close 0-1 loss in the final game.
Despite dropping the series, ULM's earlier success in combination with Appalachian State's win over Coastal Carolina today (May 5) has punched the Warhawks' ticket to Lafayette, Louisiana next week for the Sun Belt conference championship.
"I'm really proud of the way we played this weekend," said head softball coach Corey Lyon.
