LAFAYETTE, La. – The ULM tennis team continued its dominance over UT-Rio Grande Valley on the second day of action at the Hidden Duals as the Warhawks posted a 6-0 victory in afternoon singles.
Maria Alfaro, the No. 1 seed for ULM in the match, took down Kristyna Mamicova by scores of 6-1, 6-1. Teammate Karolina Snita also made quick work of her No. 2-seeded counterpart, Ana Platisa, with a 6-2, 6-1 victory.
The Warhawks picked up their third point from No. 3 seed Jimena Garbino, who emerged with a 6-1, 6-2 win over the Vaqueras' Katarina Sasaroga.
