MONROE, La. – The ULM men’s golf team has been recognized for its achievements in the classroom and its graduation retention rates by the NCAA, as the Warhawks were named recipients of the NCAA Public Recognition Award by the NCAA National Office this week.
The Warhawks earned a perfect 1,000 score – one of only 944 programs across the country in all sports to do so.
“I am very pleased to see our guys doing well with their education and also their commitment to their studies,” ULM head coach Tim Baldwin stated. “This is a strong statement about our student-athletes and I couldn’t be happier for the University to have this level of recognition.
