MOBILE, Ala. – ULM junior women's golfer Jahaanvie Walia remains in contention for her second individual title as a Warhawk after carding a second round 73 at the South Alabama Invitational on Sunday, Sept. 15 at the Magnolia Grove Crossings Golf Course. Walia is locked in a five-way tie for fifth, seven shots off the pace set by leader Tia Teiniketo (UAB), who owns a 9-under-par score of 135 through the first two rounds.
Walia, who slipped one spot on the individual leaderboard, posted the best second round score (73) of any ULM competitor.
