MOBILE, Ala. – ULM's Jahaanvie Walia was one of three golfers on the Magnolia Grove Crossings Golf Course to fire a third-round 69, including individual champion Tia Teiniketo (UAB) and Gracie Aday (Incarnate Word), as she finished third overall in the South Alabama Intercollegiate, which drew to close on Monday.
Walia, who entered the final round in a five-way tie for fifth, wrapped up the tournament by tying her lowest personal round as a collegiate (69), set in the first round of the event. Walia opened play on the ninth hole and would record one birdie and eight pars in her first nine holes.
