Walia Locked In Three-Way Tie for Fourth at South Alabama Intercollegiate

MOBILE, Ala. – Jahaanvie Walia, a junior standout on the ULM women's golf team, wrapped up the opening round of the South Alabama Intercollegiate in a three-way tie for fourth after carding a 3-under-par 69 at the Magnolia Grove Crossings Golf Course.

The Warhawks are 11th in the team standings with a 10-over-par score of 298, 14 shots off the pace established by team standings leader UAB (285, -3). North Florida sits in second, three shots behind the Blazers with an even par 288.

Walia, who is tied alongside Siti Shaari (South Alabama) and Sara Zmikova (Houston Baptist), began her round with three birdies and three pars on the front nine.
