MONROE, La. – The 2019-20 season ended for ULM basketball Tuesday night with a 61-57 loss to Appalachian State at Fant-Ewing Coliseum.
The Warhawks (9-20, 5-15) will not advance to the Sun Belt Conference Tournament after losing 14 of its 29 games by eight points or less.
"We're disappointed in the number of games that we won this year," ULM coach Keith Richard said. "We lost a lot of close games and didn't have the season we thought we could have. But I'm not discouraged with our program moving forward. We had a good signing class in the fall, and we'll sign some more in the spring.
