HAMMOND, La. – The University of Louisiana Monroe battled Southeastern Louisiana to a 1-1 tie in double overtime Sunday, Sept. 10.
Late in the first half, ULM took a 1-0 lead when freshman midfielder found the back of the net from inside the box in the 42nd minute, off a cross from the left side by freshman .
The SLU offense came alive in the 62nd minute, as junior defender Christina Cutura dribbled into the box and passed the ball to junior midfielder Maggie Ramsey, who scored the equalizer.
The Warhawks controlled play for most of the overtime sessions, outshooting the Lady Lions, 6-1.
