HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The ULM soccer team (8-2-3, 3-0-3 Sun Belt) captured a 3-1 victory in Hattiesburg against the Southern Miss Golden Eagles (2-10-1, 1-5 Sun Belt) on Sunday afternoon (Oct. 5). The win keeps ULM undefeated in conference play, as well as marks the first win at Southern Miss for the Warhawks.
The home team pushed heavy on the offense as the first half began, but ULM held on, fighting to find the first score. An early yellow card for ULM set up a potential scoring opportunity for Southern Miss, but to no avail.
