KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The ULM soccer team has been recognized as a Team Academic Award winner on behalf of the United Soccer Coaches, announced by the association on Thursday (Oct. 4). The USC uses the award to recognize exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2017-18 academic year.
2018 marks the second consecutive year the Warhawks have earned the award and the eighth time overall. ULM earned the award after recording a cumulative 3.43 team GPA over the course of the 2017-18 academic year.
A total of 782 college teams (293 men, 489 women) earned the Team Academic Award, including 198 schools who had both their men's and women's programs among the recipients.
