MONROE, La. – The ULM volleyball team honored seniors Albany Schaffer, Katie McKay and Mikaela Worley on Sunday during senior day, but fell to UT Arlington, 3-0, in Fant-Ewing Coliseum.
"Today was a special day for our seniors, not for what we did on the court or even the outcome of the match, but for what our team did for our seniors in the locker room and what the coaches and administrators were able to provide them on center court before the match," head coach Charlie Olson said.
The beginning of the match started out with a very long rally between the two teams and the Mavericks (15-10, 7-6 Sun Belt) were able to come away with the point.
