MONROE, La. – ULM will kick off the 2018 football season against Southeastern Louisiana on Thursday, Aug. 30 at 7 p.m. CT in Malone Stadium. The 2018 season and home opener was originally scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 1.
"We're extremely excited about this special opportunity to kick off the 2018 season with a Thursday night home game," ULM Athletics Director Nick Floyd said. "Several student groups as well as fans in the community expressed an interest in kicking off our home football schedule with a Thursday night game on Labor Day weekend. It's an opportunity to maximize attendance for the home opener as well as generate some national exposure for our football program.
