HUNTINGTON, W. Va. – ULM volleyball dropped its ninth straight contest with a 3-0 (25-23, 25-13, 25-17) to Marshall Friday evening.
Kennedy Plummer and Madison Derden served as the main attackers for the Warhawks (9-13, 0-8 Sun Belt), with both having 10 kills each. Morgan Howard had her second-highest assist performance of the year with 31 total.
ULM started the first set with a narrow 4-3 lead. The Thundering Herd (11-10, 3-5 Sun Belt) responded with a 7-1 scoring run to take control of the set. A 4-1 run by the Warhawks put them back into the set as they trailed by three.
