MONROE, La. – ULM volleyball dropped its fourth straight contest 3-0 (25-21, 25-14, 25-16) against South Alabama in the first of two weekend matches Friday evening.
In the first set, both teams started with an even pace, with the Warhawks (9-8, 0-3 Sun Belt) holding a narrow 7-6 lead. The Jaguars (8-6, 3-0 Sun Belt) took control from there, scoring five of the next six points.
Trailing by four, ULM tacked on four of its own points to tie the set at 13-13. With both teams tied at 18, USA powered a 5-1 scoring run thanks to four offensive kills.
