MONROE, La. – Louisiana Tech netted two second-half goals en route to a 2-0 victory over the University of Louisiana Monroe Sunday, Sept. 3 at the ULM Soccer Complex.
Louisiana Tech scored its first goal in the 48th minute, as freshman Elizabeth Doll advanced the ball inside the top of the 18 to junior Mylene Roy-Ouellet, who made a perfect pass to sophomore Jenna Dages, who deposited it inside the far right post.
The Lady Techsters added an insurance goal in the 69th minute, as senior Monica Gebler crossed the ball into the box and Roy-Ouellet headed it inside the right post from 10 yards out.
