FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The University of Louisiana Monroe volleyball team lost its third and final game of the Arkansas Classic to Cal State Bakersfield, 3-0 (25-23, 25-19, 25-29), Saturday.
ULM rallied from a 16-9 deficit in the first set to tie the score at 20-20, but CSUB tallied five of the next eight points to take the opening frame. The Warhawks led the second set 11-10 before the Roadrunners won six of the eight points to build a 16-13 advantage and eventually claimed the set, 25-19, on fifth-year senior middle blocker Haylee Roberts' kill. CSUB took the third set by the identical score of 25-19.
