Troy Uses Two Three-Run Innings to Down ULM

TROY, Ala. – Troy scored three runs in both the second and fifth frames to earn a 6-1 victory over visiting ULM on Saturday afternoon (March 9) at the Troy Softball Complex.

The Warhawks (4-19) established themselves early in the first inning as Sydney McKay opened the game with a double to left-center field. Jessie Watts followed with single through the left side of the infield, putting runners at the corners, before Jaclyn Kresta reached on a muffed throw at first to score McKay from third.

The Trojans answered in the second when Katie Lively and Taylor Corbett drew back-to-back two-out walks to keep the inning alive.
