MONROE, La. – Three ULM men's golfers – freshman Max Catherine (second team), sophomore Guillaume Fanonnel (third team) and Joao Girao (third team) have earned All-Sun Belt honors, as selected by the league's head coaches. In addition, Catherine has been named Sun Belt Freshman of the Year.
Catherine led the team in scoring average (73.36) and birdies (108) and ranked fourth in pars per round (10.67). He has placed among the Top 25 in six of 11 tournaments, including three Top-20 finishes. His top performance came in the 2018 Sun Belt Championships where he tied for ninth at 2-over-par 215 (74-71-70).
