The ULM softball team started off their campaign at the Houston Classic with two games against notable rosters in that of Wisconsin and Princeton University.
While the Warhawks couldn’t edge out some runs against Wisconsin and lost 5-2, the ladies were able to find their swings against Princeton in a 12-6 route against the Tigers.
After the game, head coach Corey Lyon was pleased with how his ladies came together and regrouped after the first game against Wisconsin.
“I’m really proud of the way the team bounced back in game two and put up a big number against Princeton,” Lyon said.
