Second-Half Turnovers Prove Costly in Loss at No. 6 Auburn, 42-14

AUBURN, Ala. – A confident ULM football team arrived ready to spar at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

The Warhawks played Auburn even for most of two quarters Saturday afternoon before falling 42-14 to the nation's No. 6 team.

"We came out and got after them and competed really, really hard," ULM head coach Matt Viator said. "We were right there in it for a good while."

"We had on our mind, it doesn't matter who is in front of us," ULM receiver Brian Williams added. "We're going to come out and compete, no matter how big the school is or what their ranking is.
