MONROE, La. – The ULM men's basketball team knows its road to a Sun Belt Championship, a road that begins Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. against Arkansas State in New Orleans in the first round of the Sun Belt Conference Championship held at the University of New Orleans.
The Warhawks, who finished the regular season 8-23 in overall and 2-16 in league play, are the No. 12 seed in the tournament.
This will be the first time in each school’s respective history that they will meet in the Sun Belt Conference Championship. Arkansas State holds a 37-24 all-time record against the Warhawks, including sweeping the season series with a 76-45 win in Jonesboro on January 2 and a 73-63 win in Monroe on January 28.
