Men’s basketball falls short in Lafayette

The ULM/ULL rivalry was on display once again on Saturday when ULL defeated the Warhawks (13-10, 6-5 SBC) 83-76. A strong second half push wasn’t enough for ULM as they continue to struggle on the road.

The first half was plagued by poor shooting and offensive blunders. ULM went 11-for-30 (37 percent) on field goals and 3-for-11 (28 percent) on 3-pointers.

However, Coach Richard was able to ignite a spark at halftime and the Warhawks came out ready to play in the second half.

Daishon Smith led the way with 25 points, but they weren’t enough as ULM fell to ULL.
