MONROE, La. – Consider bringing a portable radio to Malone Stadium next Saturday. Or at least make it a point to tune in to the game's broadcast on your favorite smartphone app.

When the Warhawks play Arkansas State at 2 p.m., ULM L Club Hall of Fame broadcaster Frank Hoffmann will take his perch high in the radio booth and call the final game of his 42-year career.

"He's a Hall of Famer, but also Hall of Fame man," said former ULM receiver Tag Rome, who serves as sideline reporter for the radio crew.
