SHREVEPORT, La. – ULM's Guillaume Fannonel earned the second Top-5 finish of the season and fourth of his career at the David Toms Intercollegiate on Sunday, finishing the two-day, three-round event at 11-under-par, as he closed in a tie for fifth. The Warhawk junior led the way for a ULM unit that finished fifth in the team standings at 10-under-par.
Fanonnel, who has now notched six Top-10 outings in his collegiate career, finished with a score of 205 (68-68-69) in three rounds. His third-round 69 came by virtue of an eagle, two birdies and 14 pars, resulting in his fifth round in the 60s during the fall slate.
