SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The play of ULM's Guillaume Fanonnel and Michael Gilbert, who are third and sixth, respectively, at the UTSA/Lone Star Invitational placed the Warhawks fifth in the team standings after two rounds of play on Monday, Sept. 16 at the TPC Oaks Course in San Antonio, Texas.
Fanonnel, who sits three shots off the pace established by Lipscomb's Nolan Ray (-10), opened Monday with a first round 69. The ULM senior came through with five birdies, three of which came on the back nine, and 11 pars in the first round.
