HOOVER, Ala. – Sophomore Chantal Dueringer and junior Jahaanvie Walia were part of a three-way tie for third place as the ULM women's golf team placed sixth Tuesday at the Hoover Invitational at Hoover Country Club.
"It was a challenging day on the course for us," ULM assistant coach Lana Hodge said. "We made some errors that cost us several shots. We were still struggling with some iron shots and we just couldn't get anything going."
Dueringer and Walia each finished at 1-over-par 217 for the tournament, four shots behind Indianapolis' Pilar Echeverria, who won the tournament at 3-under-par 213.
