BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – ULM junior Chantal Dueringer is third and the Warhawk women's golf team is in fifth place following the first two rounds of the Hoover Invitational Monday at Heatherwood Golf & Country Club.
The Warhawks shot a two-round total of 26-over-par 602 (305-297), which is 16 shots off the lead of Florida Atlantic at 10-over-par 586 (301-285).
Dueringer improved as the day progressed Monday, shooting a 1-under-par 143. She started with a 3-over-par 75 in the opening round before bouncing back with a 4-under-par 68, which was the second-best score of the round, in the second round.
