MOBILE, Ala. – Three-run and five-run innings downed the ULM softball team 10-2 in its second game of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament Wednesday afternoon against Georgia State inside Jaguar Field.
All-SBC First Team selection and junior Amye Barre lifted the first pitch she saw over the bleachers in left field to commence the scoring, putting the Warhawks (24-33) ahead 1-0 in the top of the first.
The Panthers (31-26) found an answer in the bottom half after an error gave Brenna Skalski an at-bat with runners on first and third. Skalski singled up the middle to tie the game at one.
