MONROE, La. – Brandon Bell threw his way to a Warhawk Male of Week award from the ULM baseball program, and Adriunna Brown both sprinted and leaped toward a Warhawk Female of the Week accolade from the track & field team, announced Tuesday.
Bell logged his first quality start and first win of 2016 after tossing seven strong innings against No. 26 Dallas Baptist on Sunday afternoon. The redshirt-senior scattered six hits, two walks and one earned run while striking out three batters as he tied a career-high with seven innings of work.
Against the Patriots, Bell allowed one hit or less in six of his seven innings of work with Dallas Baptist breaking through with its only run on his watch in the fourth.
