BATON ROUGE, La. – The ULM beach volleyball team split its first two matches of the season Saturday against LSU and UNO inside Mango’s Volleyball Complex.

Junior Delaney Driver and freshman Catherine Griffith at the fours were the only pair to take a set in this matchup before falling 15-7 in the third set. Juniors Hope Pawlik and Taylor Zaeske dropped a close first set at 21-18 but failed to side out often in the second. The two-slot consisting of juniors Kori Simpson and Hadley Swartz lost in straight sets but kept both sets extremely close at 22-20, 21-18.
