New Orleans, La. - After throwing a complete game shutout against UT Arlington on Friday night, ULM junior right handed pitcher Ty Barnes has been named the Sun Belt Conference Pitcher of the Week, the SBC office announced Tuesday afternoon. The weekly honor is presented by Community Coffee.
It marks the second weekly honor for Barnes this week, after he was selected as the Louisiana Sports Writers Association Pitcher of the Week on Monday.
