LAFAYETTE -- The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns women's basketball team turned in one of their strongest defensive performances of the season, limiting ULM to 23.9% shooting (11-of-46) en route to a 52-40 win to finish a five-game homestand with four victories.
Cajuns (16-4, 9-2 SBC) sophomore forward Simone Fields posted a career night, piling up a career-high 19 points to go with 10 rebounds, matching her career-best mark. Senior guard Brooklyn Arceneaux added seven points, eight rebounds, two assists and a steal.
The win was the Cajuns' sixth in the last seven games.
