BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Dominique Williams continued his dominant indoor season with a first-place finish in the men's weight throw, and the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Track and Field team notched 16 top-5 finishes to conclude action on Friday in the Samford Invitational at the Birmingham Crossplex.
Williams, the No. 1-ranked student-athlete in the event and defending Sun Belt Conference champion, posted a mark of 65 feet, 10 inches to claim first-place honors for Louisiana, which was making its final tuneup before the SBC Indoor Championships on Feb.
