LAFAYETTE – Malik Marquetti scored 24 points and three other members of the Vermilion team eclipsed the 20-point mark in a 105-95 win over the White team as the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's basketball held its final intrasquad scrimmage on Thursday at the Cajundome.
JaKeenan Gant scored 23 points and grabbed nine rebounds with Jeremy Hayes adding 21 and Marcus Stroman 20 as the Vermilion team trailed by as many as 13 points in the first half before taking its first lead of the game – 45-44 – a pair of free throws by Marquetti with 2:07 remaining.
