LAFAYETTE — From an observer’s perspective, the lone benefit of the sparse fan turnout and general lack of energy at Louisiana-Lafayette’s exhibition game against Spring Hill Wednesday was that everything was audible.
The arguments with the referees, the sounds of encouragement from one player to another, everything came in only slightly muffled by the ambient crowd noise.
