UL-Lafayette coach Garry Brodhead wary of return to spacious Dome

LAFAYETTE — A focus on floor spacing and angles will have an additional meaning this week for the Louisiana-Lafayette women’s basketball team heading into a pair of home games.

Considering the Cajuns have not played a contest at the Cajundome since a Jan. 2 win over Appalachian State, there will be a handful of different dimensions during practices and Sun Belt Conference games coming up against South Alabama and Troy.

“A lot of the facilities we are playing in (on the road) are closed in and the arenas are small,” coach Garry Brodhead said.
