LAKE CHARLES – Franz Beyer earned a first-place finish in the men's high jump with Lindsey Harmon and Tisay Woodhouse each earning third-place performances to lead the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns track and field team at the annual McNeese State Cowboy Relays held Saturday at the McNeese Track and Field Complex.
Louisiana, which was making its 2016 outdoor season debut, scored a combined 95 points to finish fifth among 15 schools in the event. Host McNeese State claimed the Bob Hayes Louisiana Challenge Trophy with Northwestern State, ULM, Sam Houston State and Louisiana rounding out the top five.
