LAFAYETTE – Franz Beyer and Angus Sinclair capped off a 1-2 finish in the men's decathlon for the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns track and field team while Jasmin Fusilier and Kaitlyn Moreau finished second and third overall in the women's heptathlon after the second day of the 2016 Sun Belt Conference Track and Field Championships on Saturday at the Ragin' Cajuns Track/Soccer Complex.
Louisiana finished the second day of action third overall in the men's standings with 41 points, trailing South Alabama (57) and Arkansas State (55). The Ragin' Cajuns were fifth in women's events with 38 points trailing South Alabama (82), Texas State (52), Appalachian State (50) and Arkansas State (46).
