LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Softball junior shortstop DJ Sanders is set to participate in the 2017 USA Softball Women's National Team Selection Camp which begins on Sunday.
The five-day camp will take place Jan. 1-5, 2017 at Eddie C. Moore Softball Complex in Clearwater, Fla.
Sanders, entering her second national team selection camp, has the opportunity to make the roster for the first time. She was a member of the Junior Women's National Team (JWNT) in summer 2015.
The 2016 first team All-Sun Belt and second team All-NFCA Central Region performer is one of only 51 athletes to receive the prestigious invitation to take part in the annual camp.
