LAFAYETTE - Additional national organizations have listed the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Softball team in their preseason Top 25 rankings for the 2022 season, as announced on Tuesday, Jan. 25.
Louisiana (47-12, 21-3 Sun Belt in 2021), the two-time defending Sun Belt Conference regular season and tournament champions, are ranked No. 19 by Softball America - the highest preseason ranking thus far heading into the 2022 season.
USA Softball was the third organization to give the Ragin' Cajuns a preseason Top 25 nod ahead of Year No. 5 with Gerry Glasco.
