LAFAYETTE – For the second straight season, a new season ticket record has been set for the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns softball program.
And, for the first time those ticket sales have generated more than $100,000.00 in ticket revenue.
"This is another testament to the long-standing tradition of success for our nationally ranked softball program," Louisiana Director of Athletics Scott Farmer said. "The coaches, student-athletes and fans are who continue to make this program unparalleled in college softball."
Entering Friday's 2 p.m., home opener at Lamson Park vs. No. 5 Oregon, 890 season tickets have been sold.
