LAFAYETTE – Brooke Ramsey took a short pass from Lauren Prater and scored from the top of the box to lead Texas State to a 2-1 overtime win over the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns soccer team on Friday evening at the Ragin' Cajuns Soccer/Track Facility.
Texas State (6-5-2, 3-1-1 SBC) sent the game into overtime with a goal in the 88th minute from Rachel Grout off a corner kick.
Louisiana (6-6-1, 2-2-1 SBC) scored the game's first goal in the 19th minute on a shot by senior Natalie Newman off a throw in from junior Ashleigh Cade.
