Soccer: Soccer Falls To Little Rock At Home, 1-0

LAFAYETTE – Arola Aparicio Gili scored a goal in the 12th minute to lead Little Rock to a 1-0 victory over the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns women's soccer team on Sunday afternoon at the Ragin' Cajuns Soccer/Track Facility.

Louisiana (4-5-1, 0-1-1 SBC) had 13 shots, seven of which were on goal, but were unable to get a ball past Little Rock goalkeeper Sara Small.

Junior midfielder Whitney Taggart had two shots on goal for the Cajuns, after scoring her first goal of the season on Friday in a 1-1 tie against Georgia State.

The goal by Aparicio Gili, her first of the season, proved to be the difference for the Trojans.
