LAFAYETTE - The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns soccer team used two late goals to snap a 1-1 tie and defeat Southeastern Louisiana, 3-1, on Sunday evening at the Ragin' Cajuns Soccer/Track Facility.
Louisiana (3-3) was led by senior forward , who had two goals, one of which gave the Cajuns a 2-1 lead in the 85th minute. Freshman recorded the assist on a short pass from the right side.
Ragin' Cajuns senior forward Mackenzie Higgins sealed the game with a goal in the 90th minute off a deflection from SLU goalie Hope Sabadash.
SLU (2-3-1) scored first in the 50th minute on a goal from Maggie Ramsey off an assist from Casey Peacock.
