GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Senior Matt Rice clocked the third-fastest time in school history in the men's 1,500-meter run, posting a time of 3:49.80, to lead the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns track and field team after the second day of the Pepsi Florida Relays on Friday at Percy Beard Track, located inside James G. Pressly Stadium on the University of Florida campus.
Claire Meyers (women's javelin), Meredith Driskell (women's pole vault) and Jacob Chicola (men's 3,000-meter steeplechase) each posted top-15 finishes in their respective events for Louisiana while Chicola, Dylan Heck (men's 3,000-meter steeplechase) and Craig Rock (men's 400-meter hurdles) each turned in personal-bests.
