LAFAYETTE - Louisiana Women's Tennis (2-0) made a strong opening statement to their 2019 season, taking down Southern (0-2) and Jackson State (0-1), both by a score of 7-0, in a season opening doubleheader at Cajun Courts.
Juniors Clara Mantaux and Marina Rodriguez Garcia, along with sophomores Dana Radovanovic, Floriane Picaut led the way for Louisiana, each getting two singles wins on the day. While freshmen Hoda Habib and Ai Noa Fabre, and junior Milena Achlamov and sophomore Morgan Forshag each added wins in the both matches as Louisiana got its season off to a solid start.
