LAFAYETTE – Alissa Dalton, Summer Ellyson and Kara Gremillion represented Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Softball on the 2018 All-Louisiana Collegiate Softball Team which was unveiled by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association (LSWA) on Saturday.
Dalton was named the state's Newcomer of the Year and was joined on the first team by Ellyson. Gremillion, an honorable mention selection, received All-Louisiana recognition for the third straight season.
A Louisiana Sports Writers Association panel of media and sports publicists selected the All-Louisiana team, based on statistics and performances through the teams' conference tournaments. This is the 33rd year of All-Louisiana softball selections.
