LAFAYETTE – On Saturday, Dec. 1, at the Louisiana Tennis Association Annual Awards, Louisiana Men's Tennis head coach Mark Jeffrey received the highest award of the day receiving the LTA's Presidents Award.
This award is in recognition of an individual going above and beyond the call of duty to serve the Louisiana Tennis Community for the 2018 year.
Robert Daigle, the outgoing President, spoke and commended Jeffrey on his efforts for re-establishing and bringing to prominence the John Breaux Cajun Tennis Classic.
"Without Robert's passion for tennis I don't think I would have had the direction and drive to make sure that this event and the sport of tennis has continued to grow in Louisiana," said Jeffrey.
