LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Men's Tennis head coach Mark Jeffrey announced on Monday, a new addition for the 2018-19 season with senior Samuel Serrano transferring to Louisiana from nationally ranked Utah State.
AN EXPERIENCED ADDITION: Serrano, who hails from Cartagena, Colombia, has played the last three seasons in Logan, Utah with the Utah State Aggies. During his time in Logan, Serrano has been a part of two Mountain West Championship winning teams.
The Aggies have been ranked among the nation's top-60 programs all three seasons that Serrano was there and Serrano himself has seen extended action against ranked opponents.
